Last Thursday, May 27, taking advantage of the tenth anniversary of the 15M Movement in Spain, the Ateneu d’Innovació Digital i Democràtica located in the Canòdrom de Barcelona (@CanodromBCN) organized an editathon to document various initiatives on technopolitics and citizen participation on Wikipedia.

The following were also invited: Ester Bonet (@esterbonets) of ViquidonesUPF (@ViquidonesUPF) who told us the origin of this group of editors of the encyclopedia in Catalan. He exposed the problems with which they find themselves on the content of Viquipèdia, and explained how they work to reduce the gender gap and introduce the gender perspective in encyclopedic articles.
