Last Thursday, November 18, with the project Girls4STEM (@Girls4STEMVLC) of Valencia, in coordination with the Chair Digital Gender Gap (@gencaticUV) of the University of Valencia (@UV_EG), we dedicate a face-to-face day to the STEM Women to make their absence visible on Wikipedia and share the need for that to change.
On this occasion, we met at the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Valencia and developed this activity with people over 55 to live what it means to publish an article on Wikipedia and realize how important is your contribution to the knowledge of the free encyclopedia.

In this editatona, we were able to listen to María Dolores Real García, Vice-Rector for Innovation and Transfer of the University of Valencia (@UV_EG), a Maria Muñoz (disambiguation), Director-General for Combating the Digital Divide, Conselleria d’Innovació, Universitats, Ciència i Societat Digital (@GVAinnova) the Generalitat Valenciana (Generalitat Valenciana)@generalitat), who presented the activity.
In addition, we have Silvia Rueda Pascual (@sruedapascual), Director of the Digital Gender Gap Chair (@gencaticUV) of the University of Valencia, which told us about the situation of women in the world of science and technology.
