Last Friday, September 22, from Wikiesfera and in coordination with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (@Rosalux_EN_PT), we dedicate a day to make visible on Wikipedia, through the creation and translation of articles, biographies of women retaliated against the Franco regime and who, in some cases, had been related to the Sales Jail in Madrid.

This editatona was framed in the First Days of Public History on the Women's Prisons of Francoism, with a focus on the flagship Madrid Sales Prison (1931-1969), the most populous women's prison during the Franco dictatorship, which was held from 20 to 23 September in the La Corrala Cultural Center from Madrid.

Although the editatona was on Friday morning, that same afternoon the results of the activity were presented and the problems that occurred a few hours before were shared. The session, energized by the historian Fernando Hernández Holgado, was attended by the music teacher and editor of the Viquipèdia Anna Maria Battle, and of Patricia Horrillo, founder of Wikiesfera.
