Women's Campaign and Witchcraft 2025
> Theme
In October 2025, from Wikiesfera we organized for the second consecutive year a campaign dedicated to making visible the memory of the ‘witches’.
Once again, the campaign had as its purpose creating, translating and improving Wikipedia articles about women which, throughout history, have been labelled as ‘witches’ for challenging the norms, knowledge or traditions of their time. Also document on Wikipedia the historical context of these facts and their cultural representations.
The published articles were framed within the Wikiproject Women's Memory, which has a sub-project on witchcraft.
