Being well aware of the situation in Gaza for months, Wikiesfera signed in April the Joint Declaration on Palestine. One of the groups that also signed this declaration was Wikimedians of the Levant, with whom we organize this campaign virtual and asynchronous so that our entire community had the opportunity to collaborate in the creation of profiles on Wikipedia in Spanish about Palestinian women.

The campaign lasted 15 days, from 13 to 28 May, and the registered persons work in the creation of articles to make visible the trajectory of relevant Palestinian women in different areas in Spanish Wikipedia. To facilitate coordination, a list was created with existing articles in other Wikipedias for translation into Spanish.

In addition, also in the month of May, we organized an editatona on Palestinian journalism and journalists in which we created another 11 items. You can read the chronicle of that activity here.
