In the last session of the working group we had the opportunity to speak with Carmen Haro (@dessdoblada), journalist, researcher and professor at the University of Valladolid (@UVa_es). This year, Carmen taught "Participatory journalism in the network" with third-year students of Journalism, and wanted to give a return to the approach of the optional subject. Session 10: Online meeting to continue with the tasks

For health reasons, I had to cancel the last sessions of the working group. However, last Tuesday I proposed in the list the possibility of meeting virtually and working remotely on some of the tasks we had pending. Thus, finally "we met" several in one of the pads, that of the biography of Gabriela Brimmer that was pending in the editathon of the day of the woman. Last Tuesday, April 7th I attended during the morning the editathon #lingwiki organized by Manuel Alcántara (@inicios) at the Autonomous University of Madrid, where he teaches "Language Technologies" in the degree of "Modern Languages, Culture and Communication". Manuel told me that in his subject they analyze the changes that are taking place in communication as a result of new technologies, and taking it to the practical field a student proposed to make an editathon focused on linguistics, similar to one they do in the United States. Session 8: List of tasks for the organization of the group

In this last session we set out to create a series of milestones for the group that allow us to set dates in the calendar and progress in learning the tools. To get organized we have created a pad with those "tasks" that we see pending in terms of creation, improvement or correction in Wikipedia entries. And we have listed some activities that we think may be useful for us to experiment with in relation to the wiki environment: Create an article from scratch applying collaborative methodology.
