Last Saturday, May 3, from Wikisphere and in coordination with the Teatro de la Zarzuela (@teatrodelazarzuela) we dedicate a virtual day to make visible to relevant women in the history of zarzuela and Spanish lyrics on Wikipedia through the creation, translation and improvement of different articles.

This is the last activity framed in a project that we were developing during the last months, with meetings with experts from the world of zarzuela and training sessions for teachers and students of music subjects from various Spanish universities: the University of Alcalá, the University Autonomous Madrid 's, the University Complutense Madrid 's, the University of Granada, the University of Oviedo and the University of Salamanca. The objective was to involve researchers in the elaboration of biographies and train them in the use of digital technologies to edit Wikipedia and thus contribute to creating an accessible and diverse knowledge community.
