Women's Campaign LBT 2026

As every June, the community of Wikisphere joined the LGBT Pride Month, a moment of visibility and vindication of the rights of the collective. We take this opportunity to launch an editing campaign focused on creating, translating and improving Wikipedia articles about mujeres lesbianas, bisexuales y transexuales relevantes.

In addition to enriching the content on Spanish Wikipedia, the goal was also to contribute to closing representation gaps affecting women and LBT people, thus promoting a more diverse, inclusive and representative encyclopedia of all identities.

The campaign was framed within the international initiative Wiki Loves Pride, impulsada por el grupo Wikimedia LGBT+, with whom we usually collaborate through the Wikiproject:LGBT.

This action was subsidised by the Ministry of Culture under the project “Creating free knowledge communities with a feminist approach”, which is also co-financed by the Wikimedia Foundation.
