III Editatona of researchers #13A

This activity is linked to the project Women Investigators in the State Archives (1900-1970): a pioneering initiative in Spanish archival, focused on highlighting the role of women in historical research. It brings together the efforts of seven centers of the Subdirectorate General of State Archives, creating a microsite in the Portal de Archivos Españoles (PARES). This project provides access to documents that reveal the female contribution in history and science, and continues to expand, serving as a valuable resource and tribute to women researchers.- 17 February 2024 Hewlett-Packard I Editatona of women researchers #17F | National Historical Archive (Madrid)

For this editatona, we once again had the illustrator Carla Berrocal (@pintamonas) to create the images of some of the researchers that we were going to publish during the activity. We had the chance to see how it was going. creating illustrations of several women of which we had pictures but they were not royalty-free. In addition, Gloria López De la Plaza, Head of the Reference Department of the Archive of the Crown of Aragon (ACA), showed us the files of two of the researchers who are part of the research: Francesca Vendrell Gallostra and Amada López Meneses. We took the opportunity to create the profile of the first and improve that of the second. And, in both cases, we asked Carla Berrocal to do her illustrations. The result can be seen in the articles of Socorro Gonzalez of Madrid, Francesca Vendrell Gallostra, Gina Fasoli, Amada López Meneses y Ana Maria Adroer Tasis (disambiguation).
