Last Monday, May 19, the face-to-face session Wikisphere Weekly the Bookstore La Fabulosa Madrid became one very special day, dedicated to make playwrights and stage directors visible. The initiative started from our guest Maria Folguera (disambiguation) and was coordinated by our partner Liliana Alviárez. For two hours, attendees focused on create and translate articles for the Spanish Wikipedia, giving space and recognition to women with outstanding trajectories which were not yet present in the free encyclopedia.

Folguera helped us create the list of women's names whose trajectories are relevant and fundamental in the field of performing arts, and which we worked on during the meeting. Besides, he gave us one. brief introduction on the invisibility of playwrights and stage directors in free-knowledge spaces such as Wikipedia, which was key to promote the activity and reflect collectively on the need to make their contributions visible. During the day, too accompanied us in the process of getting to know the selected profiles better, guiding us in the search for correct and reliable information to guarantee the quality and veracity of the biographies that were published.
