Women in Video Games Campaign 2024
> Theme
In December 2024, from Wikiesfera we organized a campaign dedicated to making women visible in the video game and e-sports industry, highlighting their creativity, talent and contributions in a sector that has historically made their role invisible.
Our community of publishers created, translated and improved Wikipedia articles about pioneering and current women in the video game industry, as well as about streamers, professional players, researchers and academics in the sector, as well as articles related to the history of video games and others that contextualize the challenges and transformations of the sector, with an inclusive and diverse approach.
