Last Monday, February 17, in the center of digital culture Medialab Prado of Madrid was dedicated a editatona to the winners of the 100 Women award which annually grants the British public broadcaster BBC since 2013 to those inspiring and influential women from all over the world. From 6:00 p.m., participants and organizers gathered in room B of the center to make their profiles visible.

On this occasion, we put more effort into translating articles from other languages into Spanish as there were many important profiles that were already created on the English, French, German and Italian Wikipedias. Although there are still many biographies to be created and translated, the success of this call has been enormous in terms of making these women visible, our referents in many areas, in the free encyclopedia.

By having the support of the Oxfam Intermon Home Program, led by Zinnia Quirós (@zinniaqc), we could have some juices and buns to regain strength.

To facilitate the visibility of these award-winning women, we created the Category 100 Women BBC where you can already consult the biographies that we translated in this meeting and where we will add those of the 700 Laureates since the creation of this recognition in 2013.
