On the occasion of the Pride Month, Wikisphere drives the LBT Women 2026 Campaign, a collective initiative to improve the representation of women who identify as lesbian, bisexual or transgender on Wikipedia. From June 17 to 30 we invite the community to create, translate and expand articles that contribute to make visible their trajectories, contributions and experiences, historically underrepresented in the free encyclopedia.
This activity is part of the project “Creating free knowledge communities with a feminist approach”, subsidized by the Ministry of Culture of Spain and co-financed by the Wikimedia Foundation. Through this project we work to reduce the gender gap in knowledge, strengthen our publishing community and consolidate existing spaces for participation, while generating new opportunities for first-time Wikipedia entrants y We reinforce the work carried out by territorial nodes Wikisphere.
With this campaign we continue expanding the network of publishers y making it easier for more women to participate autonomously and flexibly in building free knowledge, contributing to a more diverse, inclusive and representative Wikipedia.

This activity is part of the international campaign Wiki Loves Pride, driven by Wikimedia LGBT+ and with whom we usually collaborate in the creation of content for the Wikiproject:LGBT.
