II Editatona of Murcian writers #26M
> Theme
On Saturday, March 26, within the activities of the month of March by the #8M International Working Women's Day, we dedicate a face-to-face day to the most relevant authors from the Region of Murcia, to make his absence visible in Wikipedia and share the need for that to change. This was the second edition of the I Editatona of Murcian Writers which took place on 26 October 2021 to celebrate the Women Writers' Day, "a commemoration initiated in Spain in October 2016 to recover the legacy of women writers, make visible the work of women in literature and combat the discrimination they have suffered throughout history".
On this occasion, we gather in the Cultural Center of Zarandona (@enclavecultura) and we develop this activity with Marina Beltran Martinez, coordinator of the cultural centres of Zarandona and Monteagudo, Murcia City Council (@ayuntamientodemurcia). Wikipedians who had already participated in the first edition of this editatona (and even in some other Wikiesfera meeting!! ⁇ ) as well as other interested people, who tested for the first time what it means to publish an article on Wikipedia, and to whom we try to convey how important their contribution is to the knowledge of the free encyclopedia.
