Campaign of women in traditional trades 2025
> Theme
During the month of May 2025, from Wikiesfera we organized an asynchronous campaign dedicated to make visible the role and situation of women around traditional trades.
Profiles of women who, on many occasions, have been pillars of cultural, economic and social development of communities. Potters, weavers, shepherdesses, cheesemakers, fishers, ceramists and so many others in diverse and often masculinized trades have developed a key role that is part of the intangible heritage that defines collective identity.
With this campaign, the Wikisphere community has collectively participated in the creation, translation and improvement of dozens of articles on Wikipedia of women in traditional trades.
