Within the framework of the celebration of the 10 ANNIVERSARY of Wikiesfera, last Saturday, 22 March, in coordination with Medialab Slaughterhouse (@medialabMM) in Madrid we dedicate a editatona to translate biographies and works of authors on Wikipedia.

During these ten years, in Wikiesfera we have rewritten history for women to get the place they deserve on Wikipedia. On this collaborative publishing day we learned together, discovered fascinating writers and continued to add voices to this knowledge revolution. Between keys, cake and friends, we increased the presence of authors in the encyclopedia.

> Expert

As in each editatona, we invite an expert in the subject that we are going to deal with. On this occasion, we have the presence of the writer and editor Silvia Nanclares (@silvia-nanclares), with a trajectory marked by her interest in memory, feminism and collective creation. Author of several books, her work has a critical and committed look at society. His writing combines sensitivity and reflection, and puts at the center the stories that are often left out of the dominant narrative..

He accompanied us in this celebration of the tenth anniversary of Wikiesfera with a double role: on the one hand, he told us about the representation of women in literature and in spaces of shared knowledge; On the other hand, she made a tour of the origins of our group in Medialab Prado when she was a mediator of the center with the founder of Wikiesfera, Patricia Horrillo.

In addition, the participants of the editatona received as a gift the book that Naclares has just published: Never flew so high your TV.
