One editatone or editing marathon is an activity in which several people come together to create new content on Wikipedia, combating the gender gap of the free encyclopedia and making visible the absence of articles related to women. To this end and being very aware of the situation that has been going on in Gaza for months, from Wikisphere and in coordination with the Union of Journalists of Madrid (@MadridSPM) we propose you to participate in a editatona to publish articles by Palestinian journalists on Wikipedia.

We will have the presence of the journalist, writer and researcher Olga Rodríguez (@olgarodriguezfr), specialized in international information, Middle East and Human Rights. He has written several books as well as the script of the film about evictions On the margins Directed by Juan Diego Boto. He is one of the most reputable voices on the genocide that Israel is committing in Gaza.

This activity is aimed at anyone interested in make visible on Wikipedia the lives and contributions of women in history. So, If you want to take your first steps as a Wikipedian, this is your chance ⁇
