Editatona Guardians of Truth #11A

One editatone The editing marathon is an activity in which several people come together to create new content on Wikipedia, reduce the gender gap of the free encyclopedia and make visible the absence of content about women and their historical and cultural contributions. To this end, from Wikisphere, in coordination with Medialab Slaughterhouse (@medialabmatadero), we invite you to participate in a editatona dedicated to making visible the trajectories of women linked to archives, documentation, preservation and memory.

During the editatona we will work collectively to create and expand biographies of archivists, librarians, documentarians, researchers and other professionals whose work has been instrumental in preserving, verifying and making knowledge accessible.

On this occasion we will have the participation of Leticia García Otero, archivist, responsible for the Central Archive of the Ministry of Culture and Sport of the Junta de Andalucía and member of the board of directors of the Association of Archivists of Andalusia.

Graduated in History from the University of Santiago de Compostela, oriented her trajectory towards the world of archives, with special interest in documentary and bibliographic heritage. He has completed his training with other official studies related to the history and history of art, as well as with the Master in Documents and Books. Archives and Libraries by the University of Seville.

His professional experience has been developed in institutions such as the Pontevedra County Council, the Spanish Senate or the General Archive of the Indies, which has allowed him to know first-hand different types of files and forms of document management. Since 2018 it belongs to the Optional Corps of Archives of the Junta de Andalucía.
