Editatona of Wikipedia in Zaragoza within the project "Free Knowledge Communities with a Feminist Approach"

From Wikisphere, in coordination with the LAAAB Aragon Laboratory [Government] Open y subsidized by the Ministry of Culture under the project “Creating free knowledge communities with a feminist approach”, we invite you to participate in the Editatona de aragonesas en el patrimonio cultural.

One editatone It is a collaborative activity to create and improve content on Wikipedia, reduce the gender gap and make visible the contributions of women in history, culture, science and society.

A partir de la reciente iniciativa de WikiAragón, el nodo territorial de Wikiesfera en esta Comunidad Autónoma, sobre las mujeres en el callejero de Zaragoza, queremos ampliar el foco y visibilizar su presencia en el patrimonio cultural aragonés. La jornada estará dedicada a figuras vinculadas a las artes, la arquitectura, la literatura, la música, la arqueología y la conservación, así como a obras, edificios, colecciones, instituciones, patrimonio documental y otras manifestaciones culturales relacionadas con ellas.

During the session we will learn the basics of editing on Wikipedia and we will work collaboratively para crear, ampliar y mejorar artículos, contribuyendo a hacer más visible y accesible el legado de las mujeres aragonesas en la enciclopedia libre.

This activity forma parte del acompañamiento que estamos realizando desde Wikiesfera para consolidar nodos territoriales sostenibles y autónomos, y comunidades comprometidas con el conocimiento libre con perspectiva de género.

This editatone is aimed at anyone interested in Making Women's Lives and Contributions Visible on Wikipedia. No prior knowledge required but yes you must bring your laptop.
