One editatone or editing marathon is an activity in which several people come together to create new content on Wikipedia, combating the gender gap of the free encyclopedia and making visible the absence of articles related to women.
On the occasion of the 11 February, International Day of Women and Girls in Science, from Wikiesfera we join this key date to continue making visible the role of the STEM Women. This year, the celebration puts the focus on the artificial intelligence, a technology increasingly present in our daily lives that, far from being neutral, can reproduce and amplify gender biases when developed from unequal data and structures. For this reason, during this meeting we will publish articles on Wikipedia to highlight the contributions of women in STEM fields, moving towards a fairer and more equitable technology.

This activity is aimed at anyone interested in Making Women's Lives and Contributions Visible on Wikipedia. So, If you want to take your first steps as a Wikipedian, this is your chance ⁇
