Between 30 October and 1 November, Wikisphere participated in the GLAM Wiki Conference 2025 held in Lisbon and organized by Wikimedia Portugal (@wikimediapt). During this international meeting, dedicated to exploring how open collaboration strengthens the future of cultural heritage, we present the project “Researchers in the State Archives” within the talks dedicated to Gender and GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums).
There, by the hand of our companions Isabel Zapico and Patricia Horrillo, we share our joint work with the Subdirectorate-General for State Archives of Ministry of Culture (@archivosest) to make women researchers visible in the Spanish archives between 1900 and 1970, as well as the open editions made with technical staff and citizens.
