One editatone or editing marathon is an activity in which several people come together to create new content on Wikipedia, combating the gender gap of the free encyclopedia and making visible the absence of articles related to women. To this end and to celebrate the 10 ANNIVERSARY of Wikiesfera, we propose you to participate in a editatona to publish author biographies on Wikipedia in coordination with Medialab Matadero.
During these ten years, in Wikiesfera we have rewritten history (literally) to get women the place they deserve on Wikipedia. And as an anniversary like this is not celebrated every day, we want to invite you to this special editatona where, between keys, coffee and good atmosphere, we will fill the encyclopedia with authors who can not stay out. It will be a collaborative publishing day in which we will learn together, discover fascinating writers and continue to add voices to this knowledge revolution.

We will have the presence of the writer and editor Silvia Nanclares (@silvia-nanclares), with a trajectory marked by her interest in memory, feminism and collective creation. Author of several books, her work has a critical and committed look at society. His writing combines sensitivity and reflection, and puts at the center the stories that are often left out of the dominant narrative..
He accompanies us in this celebration of the tenth anniversary of Wikiesfera with a double role: On the one hand, it will tell us about the representation of women in literature and in the spaces of shared knowledge (just published Never flew so high your TV) and, on the other hand, we will go through the origins of our group in Medialab Prado when she was mediator of the center with the founder of Wikiesfera, Patricia Horrillo.
