From 14 to 16 November, Wikisphere was present in the Wikidata Days 2024 organised by Wikimedia Portugal. Our colleagues Sabela Cebro and Isabel Zapico traveled to Lisbon to attend the event in person at the National Library of Portugal.
During three interesting days, they had the opportunity to learn from the experiences and projects that Wikimedians from different groups and places in the world had launched taking advantage of the potential of Wikidata and open data. Some sessions in which they had the opportunity to share space with members of Wikimedia Portugal, Movimento Brazil Wiki, Wikimedia United Kingdom, Wikimedia Deustchland y Wikieditors LX.
In addition, during the stay in Portugal, Sabela and Isa took the opportunity to attend the Web Summit, one of the most important technology events in the world, where they got to know first-hand inspiring initiatives of women working in different areas of technology and share the work of Wikiesfera in the construction of Feminist communities fighting for social justice in digital knowledge.
