Editatone of women, memory and resistance #18N

We propose you to participate in an editatona to publish in Wikipedia articles of reprisals of the Franco regime.

One editatone or editing marathon is an activity in which several people come together to create new content on Wikipedia, combating the gender gap of the free encyclopedia and making visible the absence of articles related to women. With this objective and coinciding with the 20N anniversary of the death of Francisco Franco, from Wikiesfera we propose you to participate in a editatona to publish on Wikipedia articles of women who suffered persecution, imprisonment and exile during the dictatorship for defying the regime or defending their rights and freedoms.

> Guest

We will have the presence of the sociologist and political scientist Isabel Serrano Durán (@isabelsd99) student of the Andalusian identity and the struggle to vindicate the symbols, roots and referents of her land.

He has published the book Walls of silence, a test that unravels How the Franco regime subjected women to systematic violence and silencing, trying to erase its historical and social relevance. Serrano vindicates the role of women, victims and survivors, and explores how memory and resistance emerge, breaking the "walls of silence" imposed by decades of repression.

ATTENTION: The places for the editatona are already covered. You can come to the talk with Isabel Serrano and her book Walls of silence from 20h.
