Last Wednesday, August 16, 2023, the first day of the international meeting was held Wikimania in Singapore. One of the guests at this meeting was our colleague Maria Sefidari (disambiguation) who made a historical tour of how the women of the Wikimedia Movement have organized over the years to identify and change the structures of the movement that prevented or hindered their participation. Within the framework of the Wikimedia Strategy 2030, and before the next WikiWomenCamp to be held in October 2023 in India, the challenge of reimagining a Wikimedia Movement with a new operating system and structures is launched to value the presence, work and knowledge of women.
