One editatone or editing marathon is an activity in which several people come together to create new content on Wikipedia, combating the gender gap of the free encyclopedia and making visible the absence of articles related to women. With this objective and taking advantage of the fact that the 8 April takes place on International Roma Day, from Wikiesfera and in coordination with Medialab Matadero we propose you to participate in a editatona to publish biographies of gypsy women on Wikipedia.

We will have the presence of the gypsy feminist writer Silvia Agüero (@Kamipnasqo) who, through his works, recovers the memory of the oppression of the Roma people. In this activity, he will tell us about the double invisibility suffered by Roma women.

Who can participate?

This activity is aimed at anyone interested in make visible on Wikipedia the lives and contributions of women in history. So, If you want to take your first steps as a Wikipedian, this is your chance ⁇
