One editatone or editing marathon with a gender perspective is an activity in which several people come together to create new content on Wikipedia, combating the gender gap of the free encyclopedia and making visible the absence of articles related to women.

With this objective and wanting to join the events organized around the Women Writers' Day, from Wikiesfera we propose you to participate in a editatona to publish biographies of writers on Wikipedia.

As first guest of Wikiesfera's new meeting space in the bookstore The Fabulous (@la_fabulosa_libreria), located in the Madrid neighborhood of Malasaña, we will have the journalist and writer Cristina Fallarás (@cfallaras), which will tell us about how women are in the world of letters and with whom we will reflect on the importance of making ourselves visible also in the literary field.

Who can participate?

This activity is aimed at anyone interested in make visible on Wikipedia the lives and contributions of women in history. So, If you want to take your first steps as a Wikipedian, this is your chance ⁇
