{"id":8820,"date":"2025-05-12T08:32:49","date_gmt":"2025-05-12T08:32:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wikiesfera.org\/?p=8820"},"modified":"2025-05-26T11:11:59","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T11:11:59","slug":"cierre-eco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wikiesfera.org\/en\/2025\/05\/12\/cierre-eco\/","title":{"rendered":"Wikipedia and relevant women: action against female invisibility in the green transition"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background\"><strong>Tuesday 27 May from 12h to 14h<\/strong> | Biodiversity Foundation (Madrid)<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>After several months of joint work between <strong>Wikisphere<\/strong> and the <strong>Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge<\/strong>, we welcome the closing event of the project <strong><em>\u201cDevelopment of gender-sensitive environmental and energy content on Wikipedia\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, an initiative that has sought to make visible in the free encyclopedia the contributions of relevant women in the fields of energy and the environment, while new publishers have been formed committed to reducing the gender gap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this event we will have the presence of the Undersecretary <strong>Miguel Gonz\u00e1lez Suela<\/strong>, and some of the protagonists of the biographies created during the editatonas will participate: the Biologist <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Paca_Baraza\">Paca Baraza<\/a><\/strong>, lawyers <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sonia_Casta%C3%B1eda\">Sonia Castaneda<\/a><\/strong> y <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Valvanera_Ulargui\">Valvanera Ulargui<\/a><\/strong>, the aeronautical engineer <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sara_Correyero\"><strong>Sara Correyero<\/strong><\/a>, the meteorologist <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mercedes_Mart%C3%ADn\"><strong>Mercedes Martin<\/strong><\/a>, the environmental engineer <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Marta_Olazabal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Marta Olaz\u00e1bal<\/strong><\/a> and the Scientific Disseminator <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Odile_Rodr%C3%ADguez_de_la_Fuente\"><strong>Odile Rodr\u00edguez de la Fuente<\/strong><\/a>. The dynamization will be borne by <strong>Susana Climent del Castillo<\/strong>, advisor to the Technical Cabinet of the Undersecretariat, and from Wikiesfera will intervene <strong>Maria Sefidari (disambiguation)<\/strong> y <strong>Patricia Horrillo<\/strong> to share the results and learnings of this project that has achieved the <strong>publication of 85 articles<\/strong> y <strong>improvement of more than 160<\/strong>, as well as the <strong>involvement of almost 50 people, mostly women<\/strong>.
