One editatone<\/strong><\/em> or editing marathon is an activity in which several people come together to create new content on Wikipedia, combating the gender gap of the free encyclopedia and<\/strong> making visible the absence of articles related to women<\/strong>. To this end, from Wikisphere and in coordination with Medialab Slaughterhouse<\/a><\/strong> (@medialabmatadero<\/a>), we propose you to participate in a\u00a0editatona to publish articles on Wikipedia<\/strong><\/strong> on women artists specialising in murals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We carry out this activity in collaboration with the group Art+Feminism<\/a><\/strong> (@artandfem<\/a>), an international community working to bridging information gaps on gender, feminism and the arts on the Internet<\/strong>, starting with Wikipedia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, we will count on the Amazon duo<\/a><\/strong> (@duoamazonas<\/a>), a Collective of Latin American Muralists<\/strong> formed in 2017 by Nati Andreoli<\/a> <\/strong>(Argentina) and Lina Sanabria<\/strong><\/a> (Colombia) that propose the intervention of public space from subtlety, tenderness and the everyday. They have participated in different cultural and artistic projects in Latin America and Europe and reside in Madrid, where they created the Espacio Amazonas in 2023, which has become their studio and a meeting point to accompany work proposals, training, dissemination, research and exhibition of different artistic disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They will tell us about their work in large format, the value of collective creation and exchange and the presence of women muralists within the art world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This activity is aimed at anyone interested in make visible on Wikipedia the lives and contributions of women in history<\/strong>. So, If you want to take your first steps as a Wikipedian, this is your chance<\/strong> \u2047 <\/p>\n\n\n
