One editatone<\/strong><\/em> or editing marathon is an activity in which several people come together to create new content on Wikipedia, combating the gender gap of the free encyclopedia and<\/strong> making visible the absence of articles related to women<\/strong>. With this objective, from Wikisphere<\/strong> and in coordination with the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge<\/strong> (@mitecogob<\/a>) of the Government of Spain<\/strong> we propose you to participate in this editatona to publish on Wikipedia articles by relevant women in the field of energy and the environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project marks the beginning of a collaboration between Wikiesfera and the Ministry for developing gender-sensitive environmental and energy content on Wikipedia<\/strong>. Through several editatonas and training sessions, a working group will be created composed of people from different organizations that will contribute to reducing the gender gap in these issues. The aim is to make women visible in sectors such as sustainability and energy, traditionally dominated by men, and thus enrich representation on Wikipedia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this event, we will have the presence of Yayo Herrero<\/strong> (@yayoherrerol<\/a>), an anthropologist, agricultural engineer, professor and Spanish ecofeminist activist of recognized international prestige. A leader in the field of sustainability, she has dedicated her career to researching and disseminating the intersections between the ecological crisis, social justice and feminism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, she has been coordinator of Ecologists in Action and director of FUHEM, standing out as one of the main voices in the Advocacy for life models that put the sustainability of life at the centre<\/strong>. Her commitment and transformative vision make her a key figure in understanding and addressing global challenges from an integrative and critical perspective.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
