One editatone<\/strong><\/em> or editing marathon is an activity in which several people come together to create new content on Wikipedia, combating the gender gap of the free encyclopedia and<\/strong> making visible the absence of articles related to women<\/strong>. With this objective, from Wikiesfera we propose you to participate in a\u00a0editatona to publish relevant Dominican women's articles on Wikipedia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We carry out this activity in collaboration with the the InteRed Foundation<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> (@InteRed_ong<\/a>), NGOs which, with the support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID)<\/strong> promotes actions aimed at promoting the right of women to a life free of violence in the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In this event, we will have the presence of the Dominican psychotherapist Yania Concepci\u00f3n Vicente<\/strong> that will tell us about the The importance of registering Dominican women on Wikipedia from a race, gender and class perspective<\/strong>.
