The objective was to bring the Wikisphere community closer to this collaborative development process that is being carried out to review the governance model of the Wikimedia movement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Session on the Movement Charter with Pepe Flores\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/G6YFzckFvQ0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/meta.wikimedia.org\/wiki\/Special:MyLanguage\/Movement_Charter\">Letter from the Movement<\/a>&nbsp;It is a document that will clarify the responsibilities and relationships between all members of the Wikimedia movement. It will also lead to the implementation of new structures and new decisions (e.g.: Hubs).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Since the Wikimedia movement began, all related projects and responsibilities have grown organically. The development of the Movement Charter is intended to be a revision of this governance model, and the final Charter will provide standard guidelines and processes to ensure that the movement remains aligned. The Charter is important because it will be an essential document for the implementation of the recommendations of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/meta.wikimedia.org\/wiki\/Special:MyLanguage\/Movement_Strategy\/Recommendations\">2030 strategy<\/a>.
