Last Saturday, July 9, in the center of digital culture Medialab Prado<\/strong> of Madrid, a editatona to the composers of electronic music<\/a> to make visible the absence of content related to them on Wikipedia. From 12:00 pm, participants and organizers gathered in the Alameda 1 room of the center to talk about the current situation of women in the world of music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By having the support of the Oxfam Intermon Home Program<\/a>, led by Zinnia Quir\u00f3s <\/strong>(@zinniaqc<\/a>), we could have a snack to replenish strength and give the attendees the fanzine They make noise. As in each editatona, we invite an expert in the subject that we are going to deal with. On this occasion, we have two guests: Jesus Jara<\/strong>, cultural mediator and coordinator of the sound experimentation group Live Code Lab <\/strong>(@livecodingmlp<\/a>), and the historian and cultural producer Natalia Pi\u00f1uel<\/strong> (@petulak<\/a>). With Jesus we could get an idea of the importance that the pioneers of electronic music had at the beginning of a musical branch that had not yet been taken over by men. With them we learned the importance of women in the beginning and evolution of electronic music, and we got fully into the biographies of exciting composers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
