{"id":1817,"date":"2020-12-19T17:00:12","date_gmt":"2020-12-19T17:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"\/?post_type=portfolio&#038;p=1817"},"modified":"2025-12-23T19:35:03","modified_gmt":"2025-12-23T19:35:03","slug":"editaton-virtual-sobre-patrimonio-18d","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/www.wikiesfera.org\/en\/portfolio-item\/editaton-virtual-sobre-patrimonio-18d\/","title":{"rendered":"Virtual edition on heritage #18D"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 id=\"gt-tematica\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>&gt; Theme<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>On the occasion of the candidacy of Madrid to be part of the list of <strong>UNESCO World Heritage Site<\/strong> with the application named <a href=\"https:\/\/prado-retiro.madrid.es\/site\/es\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2018Paseo del Prado and Buen Retiro, landscape of arts and sciences\u2019<\/a>, <strong>Medialab Prado<\/strong> in collaboration with the <strong>Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage of Madrid City Council<\/strong> organized <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medialab-prado.es\/actividades\/editaton-virtual-sobre-patrimonio-de-madrid-18d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">an editathon on Friday 18 December<\/a>, to promote the care and improvement of heritage in its digital dimension in Wikipedia. From 4:00 p.m., participants and organizers came together virtually to create some articles linked to relevant spaces and people in the city of Madrid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 id=\"gt-presentacion\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>&gt; Presentation<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>On this occasion, we have the presence of <strong>Marcos Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, Artistic Director of Medialab Prado, and <strong>Monica Luengo<\/strong>, consultant of the City Council of Madrid on issues related to the Heritage of the city, and of <strong>Carmen Rojas<\/strong>, Head of World Heritage and Dissemination Service, Madrid City Council. The three reflected on the importance of working on the digital heritage of the city to make emblematic places and people of Madrid visible in a space like Wikipedia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KAKL2346AXI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block;
