Last Saturday, June 6, we took advantage of the protest carried out by the Guerrilla Girls<\/strong> on 14 June 1984 against an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA) in which, out of 169 artists, only 13 were women<\/strong>, and we dedicate a day to the Women Artists<\/strong> to make his absence visible also in Wikipedia and share the need for that to change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By having the support of the Oxfam Intermon Home Program<\/a>, led by Zinnia Quir\u00f3s <\/strong>(@zinniaqc<\/a>), we were able to give a book to each of the participants. With this gift, we also wanted to contribute with three bookstores in Madrid (Women & Company<\/a>, Dream Traffickers<\/a> y The Shadow<\/a>), to help with our droplet to its sustainability after the months of confinement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As in each editatona, we invite an expert in the subject that we are going to deal with. On this occasion, we have the specialist in Art and Feminism Encina Villanueva Lorenzana<\/strong> (@_Waslala_<\/a>) who told us about the situation of women in the art world through history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
