Last Saturday, December 1, in the center of digital culture Medialab Prado<\/strong> of Madrid was dedicated a editatona to the women of the world of animation<\/a>\u00a0to make visible the absence of content related to them on Wikipedia. From 11:00 am, participants and organizers gathered in the Alameda 1 room of the center to talk about the current situation of women cheerleaders.<\/p>\n

By having the support of the Oxfam Intermon Home Program<\/a>, led by\u00a0Zinnia Quir\u00f3s\u00a0<\/strong>(@zinniaqc<\/a>), we could have some juices and buns to regain strength.<\/p>\n

As in each editatona, we invite an expert in the subject that we are going to deal with. On this occasion, we have the director and expert in animation Lula Gomez<\/strong> (@lulagomezfem<\/a>), author of the feminist video series\u00a0You're a poop<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, who told us about the invisibility of women in the world of animation (and gave us the video about the gender gap in Wikipedia that you will see below).<\/p>\n

Also attended by the comrades of MIA Women in the Animation Industry<\/strong> (@mianimacion<\/a>) that they have just launched their organization to help give greater visibility to women in this world of cinema.<\/p>\n
