Wikipedia is the most consulted encyclopedia in the world, but there are still large gaps<\/strong><\/a>: less than 25% of the biographies are about women and less than 13% of the people they edit are women<\/strong>. This lack of representation distorts our view of the world and perpetuates historical inequalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Wikisphere<\/strong>, we work to change this reality. We are an organization feminist<\/strong> committed to the social justice <\/strong>and the elimination of biases<\/strong> in knowledge spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Training and accompanying new editors to actively participate in Wikipedia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Promoting diversity and equity in the contents of the encyclopedia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Helping to create and improve articles about women, LGBT+ and other invisible social movements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
